We get it. Between meetings, deadlines, and that ever-growing inbox, finding time for self-care can feel like a luxury you simply can’t afford. But what if we told you that some of our most popular treatments take less time than your average lunch run to the food court?

At Beauty on Park Street, we’re tucked away in Suite 17, Level 2, Dymocks Building, 428 George Street — literally steps from Town Hall station. That means you can walk in on your lunch break, get something genuinely transformative done, and walk back into your office looking and feeling incredible. No one even needs to know you left (unless you want to tell them).

Here are five of our favourite express treatments that fit neatly into a lunch hour — with honest timings, what you’ll actually look like afterwards, and tips for making the most of each one.

1. Express Glow Facial — 30 minutes, $89

What it involves

This isn’t a watered-down version of a “real” facial — it’s a carefully designed express treatment that hits the four essentials: cleanse, exfoliate, mask, and moisture. Your therapist starts with a double cleanse to dissolve makeup and daily grime, follows with a gentle chemical or physical exfoliation tailored to your skin type, applies a hydrating or brightening mask (depending on what your skin needs that day), and finishes with a targeted moisturiser and SPF.

There’s even a quick face, neck, and shoulder massage worked in while the mask sets. Thirty minutes of genuine skin therapy, no filler.

How long it really takes

The treatment itself is 30 minutes on the dot. Allow an extra 5 minutes either side for check-in and settling back into your day. So realistically, you’re looking at about 40 minutes from the moment you walk through our door to the moment you leave. That’s less time than waiting for a table at a busy lunch spot.

What you look like walking back to the office

Genuinely glowing. Your skin will look plump, hydrated, and smooth. There’s no redness, no peeling, no “I clearly just had something done” look. If anything, your colleagues will just think you had a really good night’s sleep. The SPF we apply at the end means you’re protected for the afternoon, too.

Pro tip

Book your Express Glow before an important presentation or client meeting. The boost in radiance is subtle but noticeable — you'll look polished and well-rested, which is never a bad look in a boardroom.

2. Brow Sculpt — 15 minutes, $30

What it involves

A precise, quick shape-up using wax and tweezers to clean up your brow line, define your arch, and remove any strays. Your therapist assesses your natural brow shape and face structure first, then works quickly and methodically. It’s not a full brow redesign — it’s expert maintenance that keeps your brows looking sharp and intentional.

We finish with a soothing gel and a light brow pencil touch-up if you’d like it, so you’re ready to walk straight back to your desk.

How long it really takes

This one is genuinely fast. The treatment is 15 minutes, and you don’t need any settling time afterwards. You could easily book this during a coffee break, not just a lunch break. From our front door back to your office? Twenty minutes, tops.

What you look like walking back to the office

Your brows will look instantly more polished and defined. There may be the tiniest bit of pinkness around the brow area immediately after waxing, but it fades within 10 to 15 minutes — usually by the time you’re back at your desk. The difference is the kind of thing people notice without being able to pinpoint. You’ll just look more “put together.”

Pro tip

Pair this with a lash tint for the ultimate low-effort, high-impact combo. Well-shaped brows and darker lashes mean you can skip half your morning makeup routine for the next few weeks.

3. Express Gel Manicure — 30 minutes, $45

What it involves

A full manicure — nail shaping, cuticle work, and two coats of OPI GelColor — cured under an LED lamp for a chip-free, glossy finish that lasts two to three weeks. We carry a wide range of OPI shades, from classic nudes and French pinks to deep reds and seasonal colours, so you’ll always find something that works for you.

The gel cures instantly under the lamp, which means there’s zero drying time. You won’t be sitting around blowing on your nails or gingerly fishing your wallet out of your bag afterwards. The moment you leave, your nails are completely set and ready for typing, texting, and everything else.

How long it really takes

Thirty minutes for the treatment. Because there’s no drying time, you genuinely walk out at the 30-minute mark with fully hardened, glossy nails. Allow a couple of minutes for picking your colour (the hardest part, honestly), and you’re looking at 35 minutes total.

What you look like walking back to the office

Like someone who has their life together. Seriously — there’s something about a fresh gel manicure that makes everything feel more polished. Your nails will be shiny, perfectly shaped, and chip-free for weeks. And because there’s no drying time, there’s no risk of smudging them on the walk back.

Pro tip

If you're choosing between colours, bring a photo of a shade you love — it makes the selection process much quicker. And if you're short on time, go with a classic nude. It matches everything, looks professional, and hides any minor growth at the base as weeks go on.

4. Lash Lift + Tint — 45 minutes, $85

What it involves

A lash lift is essentially a semi-permanent curl for your natural lashes. Your therapist applies a silicone shield to your eyelid, carefully lifts and sets your lashes onto it, then uses a perming solution to hold the curl in place. Once the lift is set, a tint is applied to darken your lashes from root to tip. The result? Wide-open, curled, dark lashes that look like you’re wearing mascara — without actually wearing any.

The effect lasts 6 to 8 weeks (basically until your lash growth cycle naturally replaces them), which means weeks of waking up with lashes that are already done. For anyone who spends time on mascara every morning, this is a game-changer.

How long it really takes

This is the longest treatment on our lunchtime list at 45 minutes. It’s a precise process — your therapist is working with individual lashes and needs them to set properly. If your lunch break is a strict 60 minutes, this one’s tight but doable, especially since we’re so close to Town Hall. If you have any flexibility in your schedule, book this one on a day you can take a slightly longer break.

What you look like walking back to the office

Your eyes will look noticeably more open and awake — like you’ve had the best sleep of your life. The tint gives your lashes a rich, dark colour that frames your eyes beautifully. There’s no puffiness, no redness, no tell-tale signs of a treatment. You might get a few “you look amazing today” comments, but most people won’t be able to figure out exactly what’s different.

“I’ve been getting lash lifts here for months and I can’t imagine going back. My morning routine is literally half the time it used to be.” — Jess P., Google Review

Pro tip

Avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hours after the treatment — that means no sweaty gym sessions or steamy showers that evening. This gives the curl time to fully set and ensures it lasts as long as possible. Plan a low-key night in and let the magic happen.

5. Spray Tan — 15 minutes, $50

What it involves

A quick, even application of professional-grade tanning solution using an airbrush. Your therapist will match the shade to your skin tone and preference — whether you want a subtle sun-kissed glow or something a bit deeper and more bronzed. The solution is applied in a private treatment room, and the whole process is remarkably fast.

You’ll be guided on how to stand and move to ensure even coverage across your body. The solution feels light and dries to the touch within seconds. The colour develops over 6 to 8 hours (so you’ll get progressively more golden as the afternoon goes on) and lasts about 5 to 7 days with proper care.

How long it really takes

The application itself is about 10 to 15 minutes. You’ll want to arrive in loose, dark clothing (more on that below), and you can get dressed immediately after. Total time from arrival to departure: about 20 minutes. This is genuinely one of the quickest beauty treatments you can get.

What you look like walking back to the office

Immediately after, you’ll have a light bronzy tint — the guide colour — which gives you an instant glow. It’s subtle and won’t look out of place in an office. The full colour develops later that evening, so by the next morning you’ll have a natural-looking, all-over tan that looks like you just came back from a weekend away.

Pro tip

Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment — tight clothes can rub the solution before it sets. Skip any perfume, deodorant, or moisturiser on the day, as these can create barriers that lead to patchy results. And if you can, exfoliate the night before for the most even finish.

Why our location is perfect for CBD workers

We didn’t end up in the heart of Sydney’s CBD by accident. Our salon is in Suite 17, Level 2 of the Dymocks Building at 428 George Street — right above the iconic Dymocks bookshop and just steps from Town Hall station. If you work anywhere in the CBD, you can be at our door in minutes.

The Dymocks Building is one of those lovely heritage buildings with a calm, tucked-away feel once you step inside — a nice contrast to the George Street chaos below. When you arrive at Level 2 and walk into our treatment rooms, the city noise fades and you’re in a genuinely relaxing space. It’s a proper reset in the middle of your workday.

We see CBD workers every single day. Our appointment times are designed with lunch breaks in mind, and we always run on schedule because we know you need to get back. No waiting around in a reception area scrolling through your phone — when you book a time, that’s when your treatment starts.

Making the most of your lunchtime appointment

  • Book online in advance. Our most popular lunchtime slots (12:00 pm and 12:30 pm) fill up fast, especially midweek. Booking ahead guarantees your spot.
  • Arrive on time. We run a tight ship so that you get every minute of your treatment without running over.
  • Combine treatments. A Brow Sculpt and an Express Glow Facial can be done back-to-back in under 50 minutes. Ask us about our popular combos when you book.
  • Skip the heavy lunch first. If you’re having a facial, come in before you eat — it’s more comfortable lying down on an empty stomach, and you’ll enjoy your lunch afterwards with glowing skin.
  • Tell us it’s a lunchtime booking. When you book, mention you’re on a lunch break. We’ll make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently so you’re out the door on time.
